Playing poker and drinking with the guys at work tonight, so figured I better get something to drink. Suffice to say, I was in for the shock of my day/week.
Beer in Calgary (or maybe even alcohol in Canada in general) is expensive. Nothing made this fact so glaring than being faced with 19 Canadian dollars for 15 cans of Keystone Light.
For the record, I hateeeeee Keystone. But at that price, that’s already how much I pay for the booze I actually like in Boston. Looking at that number made that little alcoholic inside of me cry like a newborn being rudely bitchslapped into its miserable life.
Looks like it’s gonna be a long winter…

I am just another kid trying to find his place, but four lang of thousands of miles, 4.20 languages, twenty odd years, and several guitars later, I still don't know where that is. But I will keep searching, and maybe I'll start getting an idea. This coil is just brimming with wanderlust. Nomad. Vagabond. Call me what you will.
This here is my little fledgling blog. Equal parts punching bag, confessional, and exhibit, but all thoughtspace. I'm gonna try to play around with layout and content until something works. I've never had one, so we'll see how this experiment goes.
