I was really excited too. All 3 at once. Not seen any of them yet.
I feel your pain. I had a chance to see the Foos, and Against Me! and Serj Tankian (or System of a Down) were opening for them, but I had to ditch the tickets because of obligations.
That hurt. I’ve come to the conclusion that money isn’t such a big price to pay to see artists whose work I love perform live.

My kinda boss: So I hear you guys got an apartment already?
Me: Yeah, I am pretty excited.

My new apartment is gonna be awesome
Very classy, has classy furnishings, the building has great facilities (including it’s very own liquor store and a tunnel to the supermarket next door), but most of all, the view of downtown Calgary is SPECTACULAR. I almost want to put on some panties just to see them drop.

My boss scolded me for not doing my job, which is ok. I’m not even sure what exactly my job is.

I had to wake up early to prep for a remote presentation for my team. There I was in my underwear, scrambling to put the finishing “professional” looking touches to my slides, and hardly anyone even joins the call.
